Remio VR
Cross-Platform XR Gaming & Collaboration Suite
Technical Project Manager (Aug 2022 – Dec 2023)
Unity Developer (Oct 2020 – Dec 2023)
Over the course of this multi-year project, I served dual roles: as a hands-on Unity Developer leading feature development and prototyping, and later as a Technical Project Manager overseeing operations, build management, and cross-functional team coordination. The project spanned multiple platforms and delivered several high-quality XR experiences in a live, production environment.
This project was a unique intersection of leadership and hands-on development. It allowed me to bridge the gap between product strategy, creative design, and technical execution—while delivering high-impact user experiences across mobile, VR, and desktop platforms.
Key Contributions:
Project & Team Management:
Managed the overall project structure in Linear, including task planning, decomposition, and delegation.
Oversaw repository administration, build pipelines, and QA/release processes across four supported platforms, including Meta.
Led the Technical Art Team, aligning creative vision with technical execution.
Spearheaded implementation and reporting for Mixpanel analytics, shaping data-driven decisions across the team.
Development & Feature Implementation:
Designed and developed two major game experiences:
Archery Tower Defense
Team Puzzle Race
Design and development on existing Paintball game, adding new levels and game modes as well as weapon skin customisation options.
Level and gameplay mechanic design for the Wingit game, implementing “Catch the Snitch“ and “Infected“ game modes.
Developed the Board Room space with automatic seat assignment logic for multiplayer sessions.
Led a full redesign and refactor of an existing Disc Golf experience, optimising performance and improving UX.
Implemented key systems such as a persistent, customisable gallery feature, and a leveling and achievements system.
Regularly reviewed code and mentored junior developers, ensuring maintainability and consistency across the codebase.
